(2006) [20] reported a similar change in serum MDK concentrations in 15 women with ovarian carcinoma (i.e. > 500 pg/ml) and 49 controls (i.e. < 500 pg/ml) to those concentrations reported in this study. Within the present study cohort, plasma concentrations of MDK and AGR2 were not significantly altered by tumor type or stage of disease.
